When you use our free security tools (such as the Email Exposure Report, Password Strength Test, Phishing Link Scanner, IP Location Checker, Privacy Risk Quiz, and VPN Match Quiz), you voluntarily provide information such as email provider/usage selections, password characteristics (never an actual password), URLs, and quiz answers. This information is processed entirely on our own server using rule-based scoring logic and is not sent to any third-party AI provider, and is not stored after your results are generated. The one exception is the IP & Location Checker, which sends the IP address you enter (or your own IP, detected automatically) to a third-party IP geolocation lookup (ip-api.com) solely to return city-level location information; that lookup is not stored by us.
Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you visit our Site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and time spent on pages. This information is collected through server logs and third-party analytics services.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Site and to serve relevant advertising. - AWeber — Email newsletter service. If you sign up for our free checklist/newsletter, your email address is stored by AWeber under their Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Associates & affiliate partners — When you click a product link marked as an affiliate/Amazon link, the destination site may set its own cookies to track the referral. See the Affiliate Links section below and our Affiliate Disclosure.

5. Data Retention
We do not store the specific inputs you enter into our security tools (email addresses, IP addresses, URLs, quiz answers) after your session ends. Server logs may be retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes. Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
6. Affiliate Links & Amazon Associates
Some links on this Site are affiliate links, including links to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This Site also participates in select cybersecurity affiliate programs (such as VPN, password manager, antivirus, or identity-protection partners) where those partnerships are active. When a partner category has not yet been set up, we do not display a placeholder or non-functional link — the call-to-action simply does not appear. Clicking an affiliate or Amazon link does not cost you anything extra, and the destination merchant (e.g., Amazon) may use its own cookies to attribute the referral to us. Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
